360° Holistic Progress Report Card For Students From classes VI to VIII

Directorate of School Education, West Bengal has directed to notify all concerned parties about the introduction of the Holistic Progress Report Card for students studying in classes VI to VIII, starting from this academic year.

The purpose of the Holistic Report Card is to keep records of the 360° holistic progress of each student.

Implementation of 360° Holistic Report Card

  • Institutions : All Heads of Institutions under WBBSE.
  • Application: Applicable to students in classes VI to VIII.
  • Needful: Heads of Institutions must adopt and maintain the Holistic Progress Report for every student.
  • Commencement: From this academic year onwards.

Record Keeping of Holistic Progress Report Card

  • The 360° Holistic Progress Report Card should be filled out starting this year.
  • Records should be maintained from the current class location of each student in the school.

Compliance

  • All institutions are required to comply with these directives and ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping in the new Holistic Progress Report Card format.

Sub : Introduction of Holistic Progress Report Card for students studying in classes VI to VIII

Dear Sir/Madam,
In compliance with the letter vide memo no. 249-TBC/2A/46P/2023, dated 11.06.2024 of the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, Directorate of School Education (Text Book Section}, Bikash Bhavan, 7″ floor, Salt Lake, Kolkata-91, the undersigned is directed to notify for all concerned to introduce Holistic Progress Report Card for students studying in classes VI to VIII from this academic year to keep records of 360° holistic progress of each student.

The Heads of all the Institutions under WBBSE have to follow Holistic Progress Report Card (HPC) and keep record of every student in the new Holistic Progress Report Card from this academic year. The Holistic Progress Report Card should be filled up from this year onwards and however to be done from the extant class location of every student of the school, at present.
