West Bengal Health Scheme: Capacity Building Training
The West Bengal government is committed to enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals and administrators. To this end, the Governor has approved a centralized training program under the West Bengal Health Scheme (WBHS).
Who Can Participate In WBHS Training Program?
The training is open to a variety of stakeholders, including:
- Head of Office (HOO) / Head of Institution (HOI) users
- Private empanelled hospitals
- Drawing and Disbursing Officers
- PAOs/Treasuries
- Enrolled Employees/Pensioners
How to Participate:
- Nomination: Interested individuals can nominate themselves or others through their WBHS Portal login.
- Approval: The Medical Cell of the Finance Department will review and approve nominations.
- Notification: Approved participants will receive a system-generated letter with training details.
Training Details:
- Mode: Offline
- Venue: Conference cum Training Hall, Medical Cell, Finance Department
- Time: Participants should arrive 10 minutes early.
Certificate:
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a system-generated “Certificate of Appreciation.”
Schedule and Approval:
The training schedule for different stakeholder modules will be announced on the WBHS Portal. This program has been approved by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department.

How can eligible stakeholders participate in the training program?
- Stakeholders can nominate candidates (including themselves) for the training program through their login on the WBHS Portal and the nominating authority can nominate one user (two for private empanelled hospitals) in addition to themselves.
What will be the mode of training?
- The training will be conducted in the offline mode.
What will participants receive upon successful completion of the WBHS training?
- Participants will receive a system-generated “Certificate of Appreciation.”
