Governor’s Approval To Arogya Niketan

After careful consideration, the Governor has decided to extend the empanelment period of the following Health Care Organizations. This extension is effective from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2027. The extension is granted under the existing terms and conditions as outlined in:

  1. Notification No. 4803-F(MED) Dated September 12, 2014
  2. Notification No. 5069-F(MED) Dated September 26, 2014

Renewal Requirements of Arogya Niketan Under WBHS

Health Care Organizations must complete their renewal process within six months to maintain their empanelment status. This renewal process involves signing the new Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) as per:

  1. Finance Department’s Notification No. 141-F(MED)WB Dated February 15, 2017

Effective Period of The Order

This order is valid with retrospective effect from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2027, unless modified or revoked earlier.

Summary of the order

  1. Previous Announcement: Hospitals were part of a health plan until March 31, 2023.
  2. New Decision: The plan is extended until March 31, 2027, so people can continue getting free medical help at these hospitals.
  3. Hospitals’ Requirement: Hospitals must sign a new agreement within six months to stay in the plan.
  4. Effective Dates: The decision applies from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2027, unless changed earlier.

Notification

The empanelment of the following private Health Care Organization under the West Bengal Health Scheme was Notification Dated: 26 / 06/2023 extended upto 31.03.2023 as per Finance Department Notification No. 48-F(MED) Dated 09/07/2019.

After careful consideration, the Governor is pleased to extend the empanelment period of the following Health Care Organization upto 31/03/2027 on existing terms and conditions read with Notification No. 4803-F(MED) Dated 12/09/2014 & 5069-F(MED) Dated 26/09/2014 so that the beneficiaries under the West Bengal Health Scheme may get services there uninterruptedly.

However , the Health Care Organization will have to complete their renewal process within 6 (six) months positively under the West Bengal Health Scheme by signing the New MOA published vide Finance Department’s Notification No. 141-F(MED)WB Dated 15/02/2017 to continue their empanelment.

This order shall be valid with retrospective effect i.e. from 01/04/2023 to 31/03/2027 or they are modified or
revoked whichever is earlier.
