Madhyamik Result Review and Scrutiny Application Process

Class 10 Exam or Madhyamik Pariksha 2024 Overview-

WBBSE (West Bengal board of secondary education) has declared the result of Class 10th examination, Madhyamik Pariksha, 2024 on Thursday, May 2. Chandrachur Sen from Cooch Behar topped the West Bengal Class 10 final exam with 693 marks or 99 % score. Total 1,18,411 number of students have been placed in the first division, which is 12.98% of the total students and The overall pass percentage in Class 10 is 86.31 per cent this year.

Review and Scrutiny Application Process-

Review and scrutiny process, also known as Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) and Post Publication Review (PPR) of written answer scripts for the Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2024, of Institutions under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). Applications will be collected online through the website www.wbbsedata.com. Successful candidates can apply for PPS, while unsuccessful ones can apply for PPR. The post provides instructions for the application process and emphasizes that applications must be submitted through the school and not by individual candidates. The deadline for application submission is midnight on May 18, 2024.

How to Apply For Review and Scrutiny for Madhyamik Exam 2024

Application Process-

All the Heads of the Institutions are requested to open the URL https://www.wbbsedata.com (on and from 12 noon, 02.05.2024) and follow the “Instruction” tab for details of login and application process.

Application Fees and Charges-

  • All successful candidates may apply for PPS [Fess ₹80.00 (eighty) only per subject].
  • All unsuccessful candidates may apply for PPR [Fees ₹100.00 (one hundred) only per subject].
  • The school may charge ₹2.00 (two) (in Cash) per candidate only to meet the incidental expenses
  • (if necessary).

Application Requirements-

Candidates seeking PPS/PPR shall submit his/her prayer for PPS/PPR as the case may be, to the
Head of the Institution in which he/she belongs, on plain paper stating clearly his/her Name, Roll
No, Subject(s)
for which PPS/PPR is sought for along with the photocopy of the Mark sheet and
the prescribed fees (in cash).

Difference between PPS and PPR-

PPS stands for Post Publication Scrutiny and PPR stands for Post Publication Review.

Important Dates-

Process starts on and from 12 noon, 02.05.2024 onwards. Last date to apply for review and scrutiny process is on 18th May, 2024 till midnight.

For the Purpose the website www.wbbsedata.com is to be verified.

vii. Board shall not accept any online application from individual candidate(s).
viii. The entire application process, through online, shall be done by the School only.
ix. The website will function till midnight on 18th May, 2024. No application shall be
entertained after that.
